wedding stationery tips and guidelines
when should I order invitations?
It is recommended to order invitations at least 4-6 months prior to your wedding date. This will give you plenty of time for proofing, printing, assembly and mailing to guests.
when should I order day-of stationery?
I recommend ordering any day-of items 3-4 weeks in advance of your wedding. But, if you get in a time crunch, feel free to reach out to see if I can accommodate your timeframe.
do i really need save the date cards?
No, these are not necessary but they do add a fun touch to your wedding stationery. They are ideal for brides who would like to give guests ample time to make arrangements to come to the wedding. If you have a lot of out-of-town guests or if you're having a destination wedding, they are essential.
how many revisions are included?
Three complimentary rounds of revisions are included. Each additional revision is $10. I recommend reviewing our etiquette page for wording tips, and I also have a very helpful checklist here to get you started.
what is included in the proofing process?
Your initial proof is typeset according to the details you provide at checkout. Additional revision rounds are for any wording adjustments you may need. I can offer minor layout adjustments during these additional rounds as well.
how do i assemble my invitations?
Assemble stationery from the largest card to the smallest card (printed side up), such as: invitation, enclosure card (if ordered), and rsvp card. Tuck your rsvp card under the flap of your rsvp envelope.
what is your printing turnaround time?
Production begins when proofs are approved. For most items, allow five business days for printing and your order will ship afterward. Some add-ons, such as envelope liners, require up to 15 business days processing time. Please see each item description for complete details.
what kind of paper do you use?
All stationery is digitally printed on 120lb cover paper in white or ivory.
do you offer any SPECIALTY printing services?
Yes! I offer luxe foil printing in gold, copper, rose gold and silver. Please message me for pricing, turnaround times and details.
