All of Betty Lu Paperie’s romantic elegant wedding invitations include customizable designs including ink, paper, and complimentary envelope colors; options for paper weight and printing process to suit any budget; custom embellishments like envelope liners, wax seals, and more; as well as personalized etiquette support to craft the wording of your letterpress wedding invitation and all of your matching enclosures.

Your sample kit will include ink samples, envelope swatches, your requested invitation suite (digitally printed), a letterpress invitation suite, and a foil wedding invitation suite. You’ll also receive a few samples of our luxurious embellishments like vellum wraps, wax seals, and lined envelopes.

A sample kit includes:
• A Digitally Printed Invitation Sample of the requested suite
• Variety of Detail Card Samples, based on what’s in stock
• Variety of Paper Samples, based on what’s in stock
• Variety of Letterpress and Foil Samples, based on what’s in stock
Sample kits are shipped within 3-5 business days via USPS mail.
I get right to work on your suite! After you place an order for digital, foil, or letterpress invitations, you’ll receive a proof via email within 2-3 business days. From there, we’ll work 1-on-1 together to make sure everything is perfect.
When you are ready to print, you’ll sign off on the Approval to Print form. Once this form is complete, production begins. Allow 5-15 business days for production, and your order will ship afterward via FedEx Ground.

(Updated for 2022) Due to paper supply shortages and high demand, I recommend ordering save the dates and/or digital, foil, or letterpress wedding invitations as soon as you have all details for your wedding finalized.
Digitally printed invitations should be ordered at least six to eight weeks before you need them in hand.
For foil or letterpress invitations, order at least ten to twelve weeks before you need them in hand.
(Updated for 2022) Because the pandemic affected so many weddings, couples are choosing to send wedding invitations much sooner than the recommended timeframe. Now, most couples choose to invitations at least 12 weeks in advance of their event date for a local wedding, or six months in advance of a destination wedding.
It’s important to get your wedding invitations mailed out as early as possible, especially since your guests may know other couples who are getting married on the same day as you.
Wedding invitations should be sent out at least 10-12 weeks in advance of your event date. For destination weddings or for weddings that fall on or near a major holiday, aim to send your invitations at least 6-9 months in advance.

can i get a personalized invitation sample?

Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate personalized invitation sample kits. This is due to the amount of time and attention it takes to create your wedding paper suite. Feel free to include any special details about your wedding day, like your color palette, and we’ll try our best to personalize your sample kit based on what’s in stock.
